The present church was built
in the 19th century, the earlier church stood a mile away, it had
been here for some 700 years. The ruined 13th century church had a
square headed window and a pointed doorway, its old rood beam is
safe in the new church, the old font decorated with a cable motif is
here. From the graveyard there are lovely views over Golden Cap hill
to the sea. |
