| The outside photograph shows the "Christ's
Head Chancel" - built at a slight 3% tilt to the left from the
Nave - apparently symbolic of Christ's Head on the cross being
slighted slanted. An interesting freeze around the nave on panelling
the whole text reads 'In the year of our Lord 1897 being the 60th
year of Queen Victoria and the 1300th year since Columba died and
since Augustine came to Cantebury was this church repaired'. |
