~ St.Mary, Lynton ~ |
| Often described as 'an ancient church' St.Mary's is
little more than 100 years old and has undergone three major
re-building projects. The exception to this being the tower which
dates from the 13th century and houses two bells both 400 years old.
The earliest memorial can be found in the graveyard and is dated
1645 and remembers Elizabeth & Peter Sqvier of Parracombe.
