Exterior View
The tower stands ninety feet high with pinnacles, providing splendid views over the countryside. Over the porch is an old wall sundial with a slate face inside the porch roof has carved timbers. The nave has high arcades sitting on huge granite blocks which date from the fifteenth century. A brass inscription records the life and work of Leonard Loves who in the reign of Queen Elizabeth I was General Receiver to the Queen's Majesty of all her revenues in the counties of Devon and Cornwall, nearby is Ogbeare House where he lived.
