~ St.Illogan, Illogan ~ |
| All that remains of the original 14th century Church is
the tower, it's clock is still in working order. One can only
imagine how the old Church looked. The modern new Church houses many
of the possession of the old such as the Basset monuments. The 14th
century font decorated with angels holding shields and the pulpit
with six oak panels. The brass lectern left by Henry Oxland in
memory of his wife, he preached here for 53 years. |
