The church is modern and set
high above the village, from here there are views across Penryn
river towards Falmouth. From here the road drops down into the
village, narrow streets lined with cottages wind up the hillside
from the main street, which follows the river, narrow gaps between
the houses give a glimps of the river. The road continues round
almost to Trefusis Point, from here there is a footpath following
the coast to Mylor. At one time there was a mine shaft here its
working ran under the harbour, this has long since been capped and a
house built on the site. |
