The Church lies in the centre
of the village, from its high position looking down on the cottages
and houses lining the road. The tower with pinnacles and embattled
and little church the meeting place for its people for over eight
hundred years. The old porch roof decorated with flowers, in the
nave there are granite pillars each a single stone. The Norman font
simple in design with a single cable design around the rim, the
piscina may have also been carved by the same masons. |
